According to sources that have spoken to TMZ, his passing happen very suddenly and his fiancee; Omarosa Manigault and her mother was with him in his hospital room in Los Angeles.

The actor had never truly recovered from the myocardial infarction that he had suffered on July 13, when he had a heart attack.

Duncan was nominated for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ at the Academy Awards for his portrayal of John Coffey in The Green Mile and also starred in many other films including Armageddon, The Whole Nine Yards, Planet of the Apes, Sin City and Daredevil and the recently cancelled “The Finder”.

This news has touched me as a writer, even as actor you could see what a truly nice man Michael was. I first came across his work like most of us when he starred alongside Tom Hanks in the Green Mile. My thoughts along with the rest of the team at Geeks Unleashed.Me go out to his friends and family.
