British Comic Awards 2012

Following our Web Comics on the Harvey Awards comes the announcement of the British Comics Awards, The Young People’s Comic Awards.

Known formerly as the Leeds Graphic Novel Awards, The Young People’s Comic Award is run in association with the Leeds Book Awards and Leeds Library. The award is judged by young people and aims to celebrate the best in short-form and long-form stories suitable for a young audience published between August 2011 and July 2012.

The British Comic Awards are organised in partnership with the Thought Bubble Comic Art Festival, which runs between the 11th and 18th of November in Leeds.
