I Love Trouble by Kel Symons and Mark Robinson, debuting in December from Image Comics stars Felicia Castro is a New Orleans grifter who’s on the run from a mobster and leaves the Big Easy to hide out in the Midwest and that’s when her plane crashes.

But that’s when things change for Felicia as she doesn’t die in the place crash but discovers she has the ability to teleport which she things is a quick fix to her problems but lead her into new problems and opens to door to a whole new world of crime.

Kel Symons talked about Felicia; “I imagine her as someone who was always on the run from one thing or another in her life — came from a broken home, had terrible experiences with relationships — and when things got bad she just picked up and left, so the idea of teleportation fed into that.”

Artist Mark Robinson said the main thing that drew him to this project was Felicia’s powers being linked to her personality; “The book is supposed to be more about the person than the power. Kel’s scripts leave me a lot of room to do my thing visually, which I am grateful for.”

I Love Trouble is an ongoing comic available on the 5th December 2012.
