Downfall is a project that author Maxwell Alexander Drake and artist Jason Engle are collaborating on. Their plan is to release a 32-page digital issue each quarter, which will be combined into one 128-page printed graphic novel to be released each July.
What is Downfall About?
Aliens have invaded Earth. Their spaceships land and become fortress cities. But aliens are not the only antagonist in Downfall. There are also rogue governments, zombie-creating parasites, bandits and assassins. The main characters are Katrine O’Connell and The Nameless Man. Not a lot of details are given about how they interact, but they’re living in an intriguing world with a lot of potential.
Backers of the project can receive a digital copy of four issues, one each quarter, for only $12. For $30 you will also get the printed graphic novel in addition to the four digital issues. Sweet deals.
