Following recent announcement that Stan Lee would be cancelling some of his comic book convention appearances due to “a very serious circumstance” there as been speculation around the internet surrounding these cancellations, with blog posts asking if Stan Lee is okay?
Well now the speculation can end as the man himself has released a press release to P.O.W. Entertainment confirming in a very tongue in cheek way that he has had a pacemaker fitted – “Now hear this! Your leader hath not deserted thee! In an effort to be more like my fellow Avenger, Tony Stark, I have had an electronic pace-maker placed near my heart to insure that I’ll be able to lead thee for another 90 years.”
Stan Lee turns 90 in December ended his statement with his trademark catchphrase – “Excelsior!”
Every comic book fan out there new or old will be pleased to know that Stan Lee’s is fine and on the mend and it seems he in high spirits.
