Merlin returns to our screens this Saturday evening on BBC1, taking over from Doctor Who’s previous Saturday night slot. The first episode of the 13 part series is opening two-parter; called Arthur’s Bane and is penned by show co-creator Julian Jones. The series will continue along it’s darker tone which was already established at the end of the previous run and this young cast have shown a lot of growth through the first four seasons.
The fifth season will air tonight at 7.45 on BBC1 is expected to air in January 2013 for US viewers on SyFy and stars Gwen (ANGEL COULBY), Morgana (KATIE McGRATH), Gaius (RICHARD WILSON ), Merlin (COLIN MORGAN), King Arthur Pendragon (Bradley James).
