Spartacus, despite the loss of Andy Whitfield, has been one of my guiltiest pleasures. Therefore I was pleased to read that the hit sword and sandals epic is to return to Starz’s this January 25th, although saddened that this will be its final season.
War of the Damned will continue on from Vengeance – defeat of Roman commander Gaius Claudius Glaber swells the ranks of the rebellion and forges of gladiator’s legend. Therefore expect copious amounts of violence and nudity.
Pleasingly, Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), Manu Bennett (Crixus) and Dustin Clare (Gannicus) all return.
