Before Fatale, Incognito and Criminal, there was Scene of the Crime, written by Ed Brubaker, with artwork by Michael Lark and Sean Phillips. I bought this in issue form back in 2000, when it was nominated for numerous Eisner Awards including Best Writer and Best Miniseries. I then followed the creative team to Gotham Central and Daredevil – the names Brubaker, Lark and Phillips are an assurance of quality.

Scene of a Crime was a hard hitting mystery, “a modern day Chinatown”, that has been collected into HC Deluxe form, and includes behind the scenes art, stories and more.
