Nich Angell from the UK is the writer and artist behind 7STRING, a world based on music. This is a graphic novel project and Volume 1 of the 3-part series is already available on Amazon. It is a scifi/fantasy world brought to you in full-color.
Nich wants to step it up a notch and deliver a better graphic novel in Vol.2.
What is 7STRING?
Nich describes it like this, “7STRING is a full colour musical adventure in the veins of Saturday morning cartoons and French bandes dessinees. It is sci-fi fused with fantasy with a heck of a lot of action and will give you a whole new world to explore.”
Thoughts on 7STRING
From the sample panels on the Kickstarter page, we can see that 7STRING is very colorful and dynamic. It has a cheerful feel to it, despite the danger the world faces.
I’m most intrigued by the music aspect of 7STRING. I haven’t seen anything like it before. It’s like a game of DDR with swords and laser pistols. I can only imagine how amazing the soundtrack would be if 7STRING was an animated film. Call up Daft Punk!
