In the launching ceremony, RIM will highlight and present the latest OS and the smartphones running this OS.

Many of the new features have been discussed before for BlackBerry 10 smartphones. It is expected that supporting the features like, providing BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Balance, and the BlackBerry Keyboard will be a part of this launch. BlackBerry Hub will be major part of the latest features for the upcoming OS. As the name suggests, HUB is the area where all messages, notifications, feeds, and calendar events can be viewed. Also, one can access the Hub with a simple gesture at any time no matter what you are doing with the smartphone. BlackBerry Flow is a brand new feature in this new operating system. The user will be able to minimize the operational windows and can view all the currently running apps.

The new BlackBerry keyboard will help you type by learning the way you write and will adapt to your typing habits. There is also a rumor being discussed on various platforms that it will provide voice calling in the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) service.

Mr. Thorsten Heins, President and CEO of Research In Motion discussed,

“In building BlackBerry 10, we set out to create a truly unique mobile computing experience that constantly adapts to your needs. Our team has been working tirelessly to bring our customers innovative features combined with a best in class browser, a rich application ecosystem, and cutting-edge multimedia capabilities. Thanks to our strong partnerships with global carriers and a growing ecosystem of developers, we believe our customers will have the best experience possible with BlackBerry 10. We are looking forward to getting BlackBerry 10 in the hands of our customers around the world.”

We all are waiting for RIM’s announcement showcasing its new smartphone. It is also yet not confirmed when the users will actually get to experience the new smartphone.
