Ohio-based 4 piece The Lightyears are stepping beyond the Buckeye State to embark on a European and US tour.
The Stateside adventure kicks-off on Boxing Day as support for Chicago’s pizza-eating rockers, Real Friends.
The whistle-stop tour around the Land of the Bald Eagle concludes on January 13, before the band zips across the pond to share the bill with alternative punk outfit, Lower Lands.
UK-based fans will be pleased to hear that the tour includes four English dates, kicking off in Liverpool and London, with the regal King Alfred of Southampton hosting on February 9, before the rocking revolution makes a second mark on the capital at the Barfly the following day.
And the timing couldn’t be better, as the lads are planning to release the debut LP sometime in the spring. Produced by Will Yip, the album was recorded in Pennsylvania’s Studio 4, and follows in the heels of their hot EP release, Just Between Us.
